How a Greek travel company doubled its online corporate events revenue

An established Greek travel company needed more of the right people to find it: buyers planning trips and corporate events, not people looking up a place name.

The challenge

Year on year, the site appeared in Google results 42% less often and received 23% fewer visits from Google.

Our analysis of the top 1,000 searches showed the bigger problem: about nine in ten appearances were for place names and topics that never lead to a booking. Only about one in ten came from the buyers the company wants, such as people looking for a luxury trip or a destination management partner in Greece.

What we did

  • Audited every page template and mapped searches to what the company sells
  • Designed a new structure: three service pages, a packages hub and nine destination pages
  • Built a clear path from a Google search to a guide, a destination, a package and one quote form
  • Cleaned up the blog: 159 posts retired, named authors on every post kept
  • Specified structured data, redirects and quote-request tracking, with step-by-step developer guides

The results so far

From July to December 2025, clicks from Google ran 33% ahead of forecast: 5,865 against about 4,420, ahead every single month. In 2026, online revenue for the corporate events (MICE) department doubled.

The full relaunch goes live in December 2026, measured by quote requests rather than visits. A baseline is saved, and we’ll update this case study with the results.
